Therapeutic & Healing Classes

Suitable for those looking for a slower practice. Perhaps you are recovering from an injury, want to reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep or restore a calming balance to the body

Healthy Backs – Monday 10:45am / Thursday 5:45pm / Thursday 8:00pm / Saturday 9:00am

 

Beginners & Technique Classes

Suitable for those beginning their Pilates journey and who want to understand the exercises and postures in more detail – at a slower pace – as well as those wanting to improve strength and flexibility and to understand the connection between the mind and body

Beginners – Monday 5:45pm / Tuesday 5:40pm / Wednesday 9:30am / Thursday 6:50pm

 

Improver & Progressive Classes

For those with a little experience who want to move a little more and move on from the basics. These classes add a little more challenge, whilst still being slow enough to work at your own pace

Beginners / Improvers – Wednesday 6:50pm / Friday 9:30am

 

Active, Challenge & Change Classes

For those some experience and want to take their workouts to the next level. Here you will be challenged with a more active class to build strength, stamina and flexibility

On A Roll – Monday 6:50pm / Core Challenge – Tuesday 10am / Core Strength – Tuesday 6:45pm

 

Pregnancy & Postnatal – If you are pregnant, or less than 7 weeks post-natal, we ask that you do not attend our general yoga and Pilates classes. Not all of our instructors are trained in this area and we are unable to guarantee the attention and modifications that your class or practice may need. Please do not ask us to make an exception! If you are more than 14 weeks into your pregnancy you are welcome to join one our specialist pregnancy classes.

Healthy Backs – Pilates for Healthy Back classes provide you with a gentle, balanced workout with the focus on strengthening the core muscles that help support your back, improving your posture and quality of movement as well as helping to keep your spine flexible and strong.

Beginners – Ground yourself in the essentials of PILATES, mastering proper technique to reap the benefits of future classes.The natural starting point for beginners, this class is also suitable for those who’ve been inactive or coming off of an injury. This class helps participants develop true core strength and stability while heightening mind-body awareness.

Core Challenge – A Pilates workout designed to specifically target your core muscles and abs. Using a variety of equipment, imagination and energy, this fast paced class will target those areas most people want to work!

Core Strength – Each class will work to balance all muscle groups’ strength and flexibility, with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement.

Beginners / Improvers – This is a fun and friendly class for those new to Pilates or looking to refine some of the basic techniques. All the principals of Pilates are incorporated into the class including working on core strength, alignment and breathing.

On A Roll – Take your workout to a new level with this rolling class. Incorporating light, rolling equipment, including the Foam Roller, Mini Stability Ball, and Toning Balls. These props are incorporated into the class to add variety and challenge to your regular Pilates workout.
