We have classes to suit every level, goal and experience. Have a look below and check out some of the class descriptions for more info.

Each teacher’s style may differ. So, we encourage you to try a few out before perhaps settling on ‘the one’ (or more than one!). Get to know your teacher and give them an opportunity to get to know you too. This can be one of the best ways to ensure we can give you what you need. We treat every client as the individual that they are. We keep our classes small so that we can give options as necessary (and this may mean that each person gets something slightly different in class. But don’t worry, our teachers are skilled at multi-tasking!

Do let your teacher know if you’re recovery from injury or something that might affect your class that day. That way we can ensure your class takes account of where you are. And also, what you may need from us. Every day can be different, so we encourage you to listen to your body. 

These classes are suitable for those looking for a slower practice. Recovering from an injury? Want to reduce stress and anxiety?  Improve sleep or restore a calming balance? A beginner looking for a slower start to your yoga journey? Then consider this a good place to start!

[Pilates] Healthy Backs

Looking to manage niggling back aches & pains or maintain a healthy spine? This class is for you! Giving you a balanced Pilates workout to strengthen your body, improve your posture and help the quality of your movement overall so that you learn to trust your body again and get back to doing the things you love again.

[Pilates] Rise, Shine & Stretch

Ever find your body takes ages to get going in the morning? Feel like you need to move more but either don’t know what to do – or just want someone to guide you through the moves you need? Join us for 30mins to start your day. Some gentle movement, mobility and stretches to wake up the body and feel great for the rest of the day. A great way to start the day! No Pilates experience needed – and you can even join us in your PJ’s if getting dressed feels like too much!

[Yoga] Relax & Restore

Start with a warming yoga sequence to get the body ready. Then start to sink into a much slower practice.) The transitions from one pose to the next is like one long slow graceful dance. Build a stronger body while releasing tension and flow your way into a more blissful state! Learn how to slow down and live in the present moment – and feel totally relaxed!

Suitable for beginners with little or no yoga experience. More experienced yogis will also be challenged – sometimes less is more. 

[Yoga] Weekend Wind Down

Unwind, destress and reset after a long and hectic week with our blissful weekend wind-down.

A restorative-style class lit by candlelight. Teach your body to relax into a calmer state. Get ready for the weekend feeling chilled and stress-free. Expect deep breathing, seated and reclined poses. Ending the class with deep relaxation and meditation. Using pillows, blankets and even hot water bottles – all the tools you need to quiet the mind and relax the body.

These classes are focused on specific goals : these include both our PreNatal and PostNatal classes as well as other classes for specific post-rehabilitation, where we keep the class numbers small to ensure we can treat everyone individually whilst benefitting from attending a group class.

[Pilates] PreNatal

Your body changes significantly during the trimesters of Pregnancy. A class designed to support you every step of the way. This class has you in mind and helps you to maintain your fitness throughout your pregnancy. Helping to ease those growing pains and make getting around that little bit easier. Preparing you for birth and beyond by strengthening your body. Share your experiences with other Mums-to-be who understand! 

Attendance from week 14 of your pregnancy right through to your due date (if you feel up to it!).

Suitable for those beginning their Pilates or Yoga journey and who want to understand the exercises and postures in more detail – and at a slower pace as well as those wanting to improve flexibility & strength – and start to understand the Mind-body connection.

[Pilates] Beginners

If you’re new to Yogomotiv or Pilates, then this is the class for you. We focus on getting you comfortable with the basics. Learn the moves. Learn how your body moves and how to get the right muscles to work. Helping you build strength and flexibility safely through a series of exercises, all modified to your own needs and ability.

[Yoga] Beginners

Interested in yoga, but not sure where to start? Think that you need to be able to touch your toes to be attend? Don’t worry, we’ve got you! This class is especially appropriate for beginners. Full of people just like you!

We’ll take you through some of the basic postures and breathing techniques that make up the practice of Hatha yoga. You’ll learn about proper alignment and technique to start safely. Start learning to listen to your body. Use deep breathing, mindfulness and relaxation techniques to become stronger, flexible and generally amazing! Leave class feeling taller, stronger and stress-free.

For those with a little experience who want to move a little more and move on from the basics, these classes add a little more challenge, whilst still being slow enough to work at your own pace.

[Pilates] Beginners / Improvers

Been doing Pilates for a little while but not quite ready to up the pace? A fun and friendly class that will add a little extra to your workout! A change up from our beginners’ class, add a little effort, focus and results! If you’ve already seen some results from your classes, and you’re ready to take it to the next level, then this is the class for you. Expect some laughs along the way to help you get to the end!

[Pilates] Core Strength

Start building strength where it matters – the core! Expect whole body exercises that also incorporate the core. You’ll move at a good pace – and earn your stretch at the end! Make the most of your time on the mat and get great results. Balancing strength and flexibility as you work your way through the class. Gain strength and put a spring in your step! Adventurous beginners welcome too. With small groups you’re guaranteed to work at the level you need to get the results you want.

[Yoga] Wake Up / Weekend Wake Up

Start your day or weekend the right way, with purpose and intent. Wake-Up Yoga will certainly start your day off the right way! Work your way through some juicy flows and end with a relaxation that will last all day! Build strength, energy and awareness first thing in the morning. You’ll be flying-high (and smiling at strangers) all day long – yay! Adventurous beginners welcome too!

[Yoga] Slow Flow
Slow-flowing energising yoga sequences to work the body and calm the mind. Options and modifications for all levels, including adventurous beginners. Not suitable if you’re totally new to yoga.

For those who have some experience and want to take their practice or class to the next level, here you will be challenged with a more active class where you will build strength and stamina alongside flexibility.

[Pilates] Core Challenge

It’s all in the name! The challenge is all in the core. Faster changeovers and a little less explanation, you’ll want to be familiar with the basics first. You’ll work different muscle groups together to increase the effort and control – but all involving the core! A class designed to improve overall strength and endurance. Come prepared to work out and earn the reward at the end!

[Yoga] Flow

Looking for a little more from your Yoga class? Then this is for you! No two classes are ever the same. Expect to seamlessly flow your way through without stopping to talk about the finer points of the pose. With attention to the breath and fluid movement, you’ll warm up with Sun Salutes and flow through a skilful sequence, working toward a peak pose. Linking breath with movement to build strength and endurance. Working towards the edge of your balance and flexibility. Glide, float and sail into a blissful relaxation – you’ve earned it!

[Yoga] Perfect Start

Get up on the right side of bed and then begin your week with Yoga! Experience the difference a perfect start to your week can make. These classes are full of calming flow practices that link basic yoga postures in a purposeful sequence. Perfect for those with some experience but adventurous beginners welcome too. Expect to be challenged at whatever level. You’ll always be given the option to keep it mellow or to make more of the practice with variations of the poses offered so you can dial it into your perfect balance and start the week well.
